Some call it JUNK journaling, but none of this is junk.
Tweens, teens and women in my classes LOVE this.
Joy journal is an amazingly, creative and satisfying outlet combining elements of collage, layers, drawing, painting and more. There is no right or wrong and the options are endless.
In this workshop for tween/teen girls (ages 10 up) I will guide them through the process of JOY Journalling, something they can continue at home and carry with them.
We will flip through magazines and pull-out images we love. We will cut, stick, paint, layer and play with colours and texture.
The workshop includes their own JOY journal as well as their very own kit so they can continue the fun at home including:
stickers, pretty papers, paint pens, paint sticks, glue, scissors, washi tape and other satisfying supplies.
This is the perfect session for teen girls who:
• are creative
• feel overwhelmed sometimes
• like creating and being inspired but hate being told exactly what to do
• need a space where it’s okay to just… be.
Chat away and connect while creating, or don’t. This is a safe space.
