Week 1 September- WEARABLE ART
For this session you will get to make 4, unique, hypoallergenic accessories from a wide selection. Using art, fabric, photos, pretty paper and so much more under glass, you will create your own unique, stainless pieces. Think necklaces, bookmarks, earrings, bag-tags and so much more.
Week 2 September- SLOW STITCH
Using no thing other than a needle and thread and scraps of fabric, join us as we create little pieces of stitched magic. Set a scene or just go random. The choice is yours. Ideas will be provided!

I love nothing more than connecting women through creativity and providing a safe space to create, laugh and share.
You need NO special abilities or creative flair for this.
You just need to want more creativity and connection in your life!
Women need Women
We don’t need to be best friends with everyone but we do need connection, support and people who ‘get it!’ Throw in some creativity and it’s pure magic!
See it as an outlet.
A place to reconnect and let go!
When women of different ages, abilities and backgrounds get together, magic happens.
We share, we support, we lift, we learn, we find comfort and we thrive.
I am not an artist or a teacher but I am become passionate trying new things and helping others feel the benefits of creativity whilst connecting with others all in a safe space where they be themselves.
Join in for weekly sessions and leave feeling destressed and uplifted.
We have so much fun! Watch this
Creativity is a hugely undervalued and powerful source of support when it comes to managing your mental well being.
So much so that the NDIS pay for those eligible to do these classes!
Personally, getting creative has been a game changer in helping me manage my own mental health struggles, the normal ups and downs of life, and now undoubtedly, my recently diagnosed ADHD.
Just 10 minutes of creativity a day helps reduce stress and anxiety and causes the release of dopamine, the happy hormone!
As you let go and unwind your will also begin to connect more with yourself and those around you. The benefits are endless.
Whether you consider yourself a ‘creative type’ or not is irrelevant. We all have it in us.
These sessions are all about letting go and enjoying the process and therefore
NO CREATIVITY IS REQUIRED.
⭐️The price for the term includes all materials, a variety of exciting projects and your own art journal.
Sessions are held on:
MONDAYS 10:00-12:00 in Geelong
MONDAYS 19:00-21:00 in Leopold
TUESDAYS 19:00-21:00 in Clifton Springs
THURSDAYS 10:00-12:00 in Geelong
If you miss a class, you can attend one of the others. Alternatively projects will be kept for you.
Over the term we will work on a number of creations as I guide you through a range of activities using a variety of different mediums.
I will also introduce you to the magic of art journalling and show you how there is NO right or wrong way to get creative.
Whether you doodle, colour, collage or more, art journaling gives you your own space to just let go and reconnect whenever and wherever you are.
You may do it for 10 minutes here and there or you may even make it your new evening ritual!
It’s also a great practice to get into with kids!
All materials for projects and art journalling is included as well as your own art journal.
BYO beverage or mug for hot drinks. For the evening sessions, feel free to bring something a little stronger!
Once you have paid to secure your spot, head over to join the private Facebook Group where all future info will be posted.
🖤
I’m not an artist. Im not a teacher.
But this isn’t about teaching.
This is about holding space.
Space for freedom.
Space for experiments.
Space to play.
Space to connect.
This isn’t an art class teaching the right and wrong and best way to do things.
This isn’t even about producing beautiful art.
This is about the relaxed, fun, and explorative process of creating and connecting.
Use these skills later at home, or don’t.
It’s never about the outcome but rather the unwinding you do in the process.
The purpose is to encourage you to get into the habit of using creativity and as an outlet to express emotions and manage overall mental wellbeing.

Here is some of what others have said about the classes:
Art can be used as therapy for children and adults alike. There are no wrong answers in Art and all who participate are deemed successful. Thank you for allowing us to participate as individuals but facilitating our growth as a group of like minded women who quickly developed a unique rapport. Many thanks.
Christine
I LOVED Kristin's art classes so much! Thank you Kristin for showing us that art has no wrong answers and the extended benefits of art journalling! Highly recommend!

I loved the projects that we worked on and creating our own art journals! I loved the process and being with a group of like-minded ladies, ones that were happy to have a go! I really enjoyed the Creators Club the Kristin has put together. I joined hoping to find my creative spark which I once had but had been lost along the way with day to day life. With the help of art journaling & connecting with others while crafting I think I may have found it! I was excited to have a place to go each week to chat, laugh and craft and I can’t wait until the next class!
