For the last 5 years whilst running my creative business, I have had one consistent message:
Practicing creativity is so incredibly useful when it comes to managing your mental well being. So much so that the NDIS pay for those eligible to do these classes!
On a personal level, getting creative has been a game changer in helping me manage my own mental health struggles, the normal ups and downs of life and now undoubtedly, my recently diagnosed ADHD.
Getting creative helps reduce stress and anxiety, releases dopamine and helps you connect more with yourself and those around you. What woman couldn’t benefit from a little de-stress and connection!
Whether you consider yourself a ‘creative type’ or not is irrelevant. We all have it in us.
Join in for weekly Tuesday evening sessions! So much fun! Watch this ⭐️Try it out (subject to availability) or book for the term!⭐️
Term bookings include:
An art journal
An Art kit for art journalling that contains watercolours, glue, Washi tape, scissors, paintbrushes, acrylics, (black, white and 4 random colours) coloured pencils, metallic paint pens, black markers, a graphite pencil, a dabber and stickers!
Once you have paid to secure your spot, head over to join the private Facebook Groupwhere all future info will be posted.
I’m not an artist. Im not a teacher.
But this isn’t about teaching. This is about holding space.
Space for freedom. Space for experiments. Space to play. Space to connect.
This isn’t an art class teaching the right and wrong and best way to do things. This isn’t even about producing beautiful art. This is about the relaxed, fun, and explorative process of creating and connecting.
As I guide you through the basics of creating your own art journal, we will also complete various mini projects. Eg painting pots, jewellery making, print making, stone art etc
Use these skills later at home, or don’t. It’s never about the outcome but rather the unwinding you do in the process. We will use a variety of mediums across the term to create different projects as we go. Paints, pastels, paint pens, markers, watercolours and more.
Each week we will also work with a prompt in our art journals as we connect with others or just quietly take some time out.
The purpose of this is to encourage you to get into the habit of using creativity and as an outlet to express emotions and manage overall mental wellbeing.

Here is some of what others have said about the classes:
Art can be used as therapy for children and adults alike. There are no wrong answers in Art and all who participate are deemed successful. Thank you for allowing us to participate as individuals but facilitating our growth as a group of like minded women who quickly developed a unique rapport. Many thanks. Christine
I LOVED Kristin's art classes so much! Thank you Kristin for showing us that art has no wrong answers and the extended benefits of art journalling! Highly recommend! Sarah
I loved the projects that we worked on and creating our own art journals! I loved the process and being with a group of like-minded ladies, ones that were happy to have a go! I really enjoyed the Creators Club the Kristin has put together. I joined hoping to find my creative spark which I once had but had been lost along the way with day to day life. With the help of art journaling & connecting with others while crafting I think I may have found it! I was excited to have a place to go each week to chat, laugh and craft and I can’t wait until the next class! Allason
